Teenage obesity!

by Jake Polidor
(Mauritius)

Hello! I'm 16 and suffer from great obesity problems, mainly due to high corticosteroid intake since childhood as well of limited variety of healthy dishes in my country.

Currently, I weigh about 120 kg and and my height is about 185cm. I have no diabetes or cardiovascular problems, these being extremely rare in my family.
I go to a highly competitive college and I've heard that drastic diets are bad for long term memory. I've entered a gym recently but I'm a bit lost on the best exercises for losing weight without damaging my knees.
Please could you clarify my doubts.

If a person's body weight is at least 20% higher than it should be, he or she is considered obese. If your Body Mass Index (BMI) is between 25 and 29.9 you are considered overweight. If your BMI is 30 or over you are considered obese.

Starting a new life NEW

It is really hard to start something without having any determination. Losing weight takes time, it will not just happen in an instant but someone told me about the a Formula that has a gastric bypass effect by Roca Labs, if that is effective, I really would like to thank God giving us the best solution to address the increasing numbers of obese people like me.Any inputs about it?

Strategic Diet
by: Sarah Grace Villaflor

Hi, we're on the same shoes. I used to have problems with my weight. I tried the "drastic weight loss program". What I mean is getting slim in two weeks and I really look haggard and unwell after the program. Gradually losing weight is the key. Eat the right food and eat it in frequent and small amounts. This way you will not starve yourself. For the exercise, you may ask the gym instructor. I'm sure that they do know what they are doing. Hope this will help. Keep things posted. Give us updates about your current health.
